LIL/LMJ Wavefront Correction in the 4-pass Amplifying Section : Concept and First Results at 18.5 kJ per pulse 1 w 5 ns

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The Laser Megajoule (LMJ) is a large-scale high-energy laser facility consisting of 240 beam lines located near Bordeaux, France. The LIL facility corresponds to two elementary quadruplets of four beams each. Each beam wavefront is improved by a wavefront correction system.
