16.7-TW Laser System Based on Optical Parametric Chirped Pulse Amplification

Abstract

A compact 16.7-TW/120-fs laser system based on optical parametric chirped pulse amplification is demonstrated. The chirped pulse was amplified from 50pJ to 3.1J. After compression, a final output pulse of 2.0J/120fs was obtained.
