Abstract

We report on efficient and fast photorefractive polymers sensitized by CdSe nanoparticles that were synthesized using the reverse micelle method. Overmodulation of the diffraction efficiency was observed in 105 µm-thick samples at an applied field of 60 V/µm. The transient build-up time of the grating was 52 ms.
