Abstract

The PW laser system based on the technique of optical parametric chirped pulse amplification (OPCPA) has been theoretically investigated by I.N. Ross.1 Some experimental studies on OPCPA have also been demonstrated.2,3,4,5 In OPCPA laser system, the energy from a high-power laser operating in an efficient energy extraction mode is transferred onto a broad bandwidth pulse. OPCPA can act as an alternative of regenerative and multi-pass Ti:Sapphire amplifier.
