Abstract

Timing jitter can severely limit system performance in fiber-optic communications1 and highspeed optical sampling.2 Recently, we proposed that the timing jitter could be reduced at the expense of frequency noise using group velocity dispersion and phase modulation.3 Here, we report on experimental results.
