Abstract

Fiber lasers are highly efficient and reliable light sources. Because of their broad gain bandwidth those lasers are suitable for the generation of widely tunable laser radiation. In this contribution we report on a widely tunable narrow linewidth ytterbium-doped fiber ring laser device with a linearly polarized output power of 10 W.
