Abstract

Optical phase conjugation (OPC) scheme can compensate the fiber dispersion and nonlinearity elegantly and is suitable for long distance transmission. In this paper, we investigate various limiting factors in high speed (160 Gb/s) OPC system and explore the maximum achievable transmission distance.
