Abstract

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a promising optical imaging technique that enables noninvasive, high resolution in vivo imaging in biological tissue.1,2 The suitability of an OCT light source is determined by its center wavelength, optical bandwidth, coherence length, output power, and amplitude stability. So far only the wavelength ranges around 800 nm and 1300 nm have been utilized in OCT, because proper broad bandwidth light sources for other wavelength ranges have not yet been available.
