Use of KD*P crystals for non-degenerated broadband optical parametric chirped pulse amplification in petawatt lasers

Abstract

The existence of super-broadband phasematching for a signal with wavelength of about 910nm in KD*P crystal under pumping with a wavelength of 527nm has been demonstrated in experiment. It is shown that KD*P is a proper candidate to use for multipetawatt parametrical amplifier in non-degenerated regime.
