Abstract
Shaping of the temporal profile of optical is an important tool for ultrafast optics. Recently, linearly-chirped gratings in quasi-phase-matched (QPM) nonlinear media have been demonstrated as a viable means of compensating the quadratic phase of chirped optical pulses during second harmonic generation (SHG) as a compact alternative to conventional phase-control-techniques.1−3
