Abstract

Some remarkable progress in harmonic generation has been recently made concerning with the shortening of the wavelength, phase matching and pulse compression High-order harmonics are now being applied to the fields such as plasma diagnostic atomic and solid state physics. However major attention is paid only on ultra-short pulses, which inevitably leads to the broad bandwidth.
