Phase dispersion optical tomography applied to study sub-celluiar motions

Abstract

We present a novel phase sensitive imaging technique—phase dispersion optical tomography (PDOT), 1 which totally eliminates interferometer titter noise—the major source of phase measurement error in interferometers. The technique is based on a modified low-coherence Michelson interferometer (Fig. 1).
