Quast-optic coupling to a low-loss, single-mode THz interconnect with no group velocity dispersion

Abstract

We report the first demonstration of efficient quasi-optic coupling of a freely propagating beam of sub-ps THz pulses into a parallel-plate metal waveguide and low-loss, single-mode propagation with almost zero dispersion.
