Infection seeded THz-wave parametric generator with 100 MHz linewidth

Abstract

Our research focuses on the development of widely tunable (1-3 THz) THz-wave source with high temporal and spatial coherence.1−5 In this paper, an injection-seeded THz-wave parametric generator (TPG) was demonstrated using nonlinear crystals that were pumped by a Nd:YAG laser. Spectrum narrowing to the Fourier transform limit was achieved by injection seeding to the idler wave (near-infrared Stokes).
