Abstract
The organic nonlinear optical crystal DAST (4-dimethylamino-N-methayl-4-stilbazolium tosylate) has higher non-linearities (such as the electro-optical and second-order nonlinear optical coefficients1) than other similar crystals. This has sparked significant efforts to develop a crystal growth processing method and to use DAST in various optical devices.2
