Femtosecond Lattice Relaxation Induced by Inner-Shell Excitation

Abstract

We demonstrate the first application of high harmonics (HH) of a femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser to the femtosecond time-resolved luminescence spectroscopy of inner-shell excitation in an alkali-halide crystal CsCl.
