Abstract

We use the well established technique of cold target recoil-ion momentum spectroscopy to investigate the momentum distributions of Hel+ and He2+ in the focus of 800-nm, 220-fs, 1-kHz laser pulses at intensities ranging from 2.9-6.6*1014 W/cm.2
