Abstract

In this paper, we demonstrate the efficient generation of a single-transverse-mode continuum extending across 1000 nm, from the violet to the near-infrared, by injecting pulses of 100-fs duration and of only a few kilowatts of peak power into a 75-cm length of microstructure fiber.
