Abstract

The authors have proposed significant enhancement of the SHG power even in the Cerenkov-radiative scheme by inducing a periodic or chirped corrugation into nonlinear optical (NLO) susceptibility χ(2), and have successfully demonstrated with organic copolymer (VDCN/VAc) poled by the method of contact electrode, together with theoretical treatments.1,2
