Abstract
Imaging through turbid media is currently a very active field.1,2 Considerable work has been performed on using temporally resolved techniques to mitigate the effects of scatter. Two approaches are common: time-gated techniques, which can provide very high spatial resolution but only over up to about 30 attenuation lengths, and frequency-domain measurements, which use relatively simple instrumentation and can measure over much larger attenuation lengths. We are interested in the ability to image through turbid media using frequency-domain measurements together with tomographic reconstruction.
