Abstract

We have implemented, what we believe to be, the first wavelength-multiplexed digital holographic data storage system. The automated storage and retrieval of digital data in an Fe-doped LiNbO3 crystal, using an external-cavity tunable diode laser at 670 nm, was demonstrated.
