Abstract
Monolithic colliding pulse mode-locked (CPM) lasers have recently attracted attention as a possible pulse source for optical time-division multiplexed (OTDM) communication systems.1,2 For proper operation in these systems, the pulse width, chirp must be controlled by tuning of the biasing parameters. In this paper we present first measurements of the pulse width and chirp dependence on the biasing parameters.
