Abstract
Solid-state lasers for micromaterial processing should have high average output power combined with high beam quality. To increase the beam quality we realized a flashlamp-pumped oscillator single-rod amplifier system with phase-conjugating SBS-mirror and an average output power up to 140 Watt.1 To extend the average output power of this system we develop multirod oscillator amplifier systems with phase conjugation. In contrast to other multi-amplifier systems with SBS2-4 we use Nd.-YALO as active material to avoid the depolarization effect resulting in a simple optical arrangement (see Fig. 1).
