Abstract

When two monochromatic optical fields interfere inside photoconductive semiconductors containing deep level recombination centers, the spatially inhomogeneous optical intensity pattern causes the redistribution of photo-excited free charge carriers, resulting in the formation of an internal space charge electric field.1
