Solitary pulse shaping and optical turbulence in a nonlinear resonator

Abstract

The transition of chaotic instabilities from low-dimensional chaos to spatiotemporal turbulence in a synchronously driven fiber resonator is investigated with an experimental approach and numerical simulations.
