True-time-delay fiber-optic transmit and receive phased-array control

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

A fiber-optic true-time-delay beam former is used to implement phased-array transmitter and receiver steering. The 2–18-GHz transmitter and the 6–16-GHz receiver show >100° and >70 ° squint-free steering, respectively.
