Abstract

Recently the application of optical phase conjugation (OPC) to soliton transmission has attracted much.1,2 Soiiton interaction can be substantially reduced by OPC, as can amplifier-noise-indueed timing jitter. This paper addresses the simultaneous reduction of soiiton interaction and timing jitter by OPC.
