Abstract

Lohmann defined the optical fractional Fourier transform (OFRACFT) in the spirit of the rotation of the Wigner distribution function and gave two typical setups of the implementation [shown in Figs. 1(a) and 1(b)]. In such structures, the OFRACFTs can be expressed by the following integral:
