Abstract

Planar optical systems consisting of waveguide lenses1,2 have been used in integrated-optical devices for information processing. To achieve the ultimate parameters of the whole device, the aberration of the optical system should be minimal. In this paper new methods for minimization of the aberration of refractive and Fresnel lenses are suggested.
