Abstract

We report here the production of what we believe to be the shortest widely tunable visible pulses obtained directly from a high-repetition-rate (82-MHz) oscillator. This source is a radically modified version of the original femtosecond BBO OPO pumped by the second harmonic of a Ti: sapphire laser.1
