Abstract

Recently, oscillation on new laser transitions, 0221–1220, 100l–2000, and 0201–1200 (double hot bands) and 0112–1111 (sequence hot band), in a low-pressure CO2 laser with cw and pulsed discharge has been reported. Here we present the experimental results of an oscillation study on the P-branch of the double hot band (0221–1220) (Fig. 1) in a TE CO2 laser.
