Abstract

Various widely tumble solid-state lasers and optical parametric oscillators have been developed. In these lasers, however, the tuning region is limited by the bandwidth of coatings rather than the potential tuning region of the material itself. For example, typically four mirror sets must be changed for the entire tuning range of cw Ti:sapphire lasers.
