Abstract
Phase conjugation (PC) of light beams in inverted laser crystals has been investigated intensively in the past years. Investigations have dealt with the processes of four-wave mixing in the field of two mutually-phase-conjugated pumps1 and in a resonator with a holographic mirror induced by means of mutually coherent pumping waves in this inverted laser crystal.2 We have studied other possibilities of the self-pumped phase conjugation (SPPC) of light beams in inverted laser crystals with nonreciprocal feedbacks by joint scattering of the incident pump and the pump passing through the feedback loop (FL) (these pumps are not mutually phase conjugated and can be mutually incoherent) on the population-inversion grating.3,4
