Understanding of recombination x-ray lasers in Li-like scheme

Abstract

Li-like recombination scheme has some advantages for x-ray laser production with high efficiency. Recent development of laser facilities such as high power and short pulse makes it possible to demonstrate Li-like recombination x-ray lasers with high gain and brightness.
