Intracavity LC STLM for beam controlling of the large aperture iodine laser

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

For beam controlling, the scheme of a conjugate resonator for iodine laser (λ = 1.315 μm) had a spatial-time light modulator (STLM). A STLM was produced as a matrix of 10 × 10 elements. Each element (cell) was a polymer film with microcapsulated liquid crystal and had cross sizes ~1×l sm2.
