Abstract

Several types of second-harmonic generation (SHG) in waveguides have been studied.¹ Among them, we have investigated Cherenkov SHG in an originally designed Ia₂0₅ channel waveguide on a KTi0P0₄ substrate, and obtained an efficient blue SHG.² In this paper, phase matched SHG we newly observed in the same structure is reported, and also the relationship with the Cherenkov SHG is clarified.
