Abstract

We have developed diode pump modules of high brightness by dense stacking diode bars and have added the capacity for high average power by incorporating microchannel cooling technology into the diode bar carrier package. Our present diode package stacks ten packages to the centimeter and mounts 1.8 cm of diode bar on one edge.
