Abstract

Highly efficient second harmonic generation into the blue wavelength range is achieved in KTЮP04 (KTP) using quasi-phasematching in segmented/domain-inverted waveguides.1 Recently, results have been reported indicating that there are power limitations or instabilities that occur when quasi-phasematching into the blue using KTP.2
