Abstract

Recently, passive positive or negative feedback was applied to solid-state Q-switched lasers to perform mode-locking or automatic longitudinal mode selecting1 and to extend the pulse train.2 in this paper, we report on the generation of extended pulse trains in a self-mode-locked Nd:YLF laser, stabilized by passive electro-optic amplitude negative feedback.
