Abstract

The phase-conjugation method based on four-wave mixing with an amplifier in the feedback loop is essentially a generator with the spatial radiation structure controlled by an external signal. In this ease the conditions of PC realization correspond to the locking of the spatial structure of an external signal, by analogy with a welt known frequency-locking effect.
