Abstract
Recently we reported on a new infrared intersubband detector1 capable oí working in a number of modes; its feature included tunability and multicolor operation. We explained this multimode operation as due to the formation of electric field domains in the MQW region. The understanding and control of electric field configuration in superlattice is very important and might open the door to a new class of devices.
