Abstract

Pulsed laser deposition (PLD) has become a state of the art technique for producing thin films of high Tc superconducting materials such as YBaCuO.1 The inherent simplicity of the technique has led to much interest in the PLD process for other materials. Thin films of amorphic diamond like carbon (DLC) have received much attention with regards to the PLD process.2
