Abstract

It has previously been noted that the field-dependent wavelength shift of the exciton in multiple quantum well (MQW) structures gives rise to a voltage-dependent wavelength selectivity of the photocurrent in p-i(MQW)- n devices.1 However, at room temperature the selectivity is more step-like, producing photocurrent at all photon energies at and above the exciton energy.
