Abstract
We present the results of a further experimental investigation of the stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) of surface electromagnetic waves (SEW). The SEW were excited at the silver-benzene interface with a picosecond Nd:glass laser. The experimental situation and method are described in Refs, 1 and 2. To determine what stage of time evolution the process had reached in the course of the experiment we measured the threshold intensity
