Ultraprecision grinding of optical glasses

Abstract

Optical components have been produced from glasses through a process of several steps such as grinding, lapping, and polishing. This paper deals with a quick finishing process of ultraprecision grinding which can delete the polishing process from the optical fabrication to shorten the machining time.
