Abstract

Recent work on semiconductor ring lasers and erbium fiber ring lasers are largely directed towards achieving narrow linewidth^1-3 and wide wavelength tuning range.⁴ In this work we study the high-power and wavelength-tunable characteristics of a traveling-wave semiconductor ring laser using bulk optics.
