Abstract

The new crystal of neodymium–yttrium–aluminum—borate (NYAB) was successfully grown by Lu et al. in China (Chinese patent No. 2903) in 1986 and was reported for the generation of green light by self-frequency-doubling (SFD) in a dye laser pumped cavity.1
