Abstract

Over the past decade there has been growing interest in the preparation and characterization or organic materials for nonlinear optical applications. We report both experimental and theoretical results of nonlinear transmission measurements on single crystals of the polybis(p-toluene sulfonate) ester of 2,4-hexadyne-1,6-diol (pTS).
