Abstract
The optical distribution of light in tissue is determined by the optical absorption and scattering properties of the tissue, in recent years a variety of techniques have been developed to measure the optical absorption and. scattering coefficients and the phase function (angular distribution) of scatter in tissue samples in vitro.
