Abstract

Many techniques have been developed for generating high average power and high brightness laser beams from solid state lasers.1 The zigzag slab geometry has been introduced as a means of generating high average powers and high brightness laser beams. Basu and Byer2 demonstrated a high repetition rate moving slab laser.
